Personal insurance

Home, auto, and the policies that sit over them.

We educate clients so they can decide based on coverage and cost — auto, home, umbrella, flood, and related personal lines.

Personal coverage with an advisor, not a form letter.

Protecting a household means understanding what the policy will and will not do in Florida: wind, flood, liability, scheduled valuables, and how an umbrella sits over auto and homeowners. Please contact us with questions. This page does not bind coverage.

Personal lines we discuss

Homeowners

A homeowners policy is meant to help with damage to the dwelling and belongings, liability if someone is hurt on the property, and additional living expenses after a covered loss. Optional items often include higher liability limits, replacement cost on contents, and scheduled jewelry or other valuables.

Renters

A landlord’s policy covers the building, not your furniture, electronics, or liability. Renters insurance (often an HO-4) can protect personal property and provide liability if someone is injured in your rented home.

Auto

Auto insurance protects the vehicle, the people in it, and assets if you are responsible for an accident. Coverages commonly reviewed include liability, collision, comprehensive, uninsured and underinsured motorist, medical payments or PIP, rental, and loan/lease payoff.

Umbrella

A personal umbrella adds liability limits above home, auto, and other underlying policies. Judgments are not limited to net worth. We look at lifestyle, properties, and drivers before recommending a limit.

Flood

Standard homeowners policies do not cover flood. A flood policy — including coverage available through the National Flood Insurance Program — is the usual way to insure rising water, overflow, and related surface-water damage.

Life, disability, and long-term care

Life insurance can provide liquidity for a family, debts, or estate needs. Disability income insurance can replace a portion of earnings if illness or injury keeps you from working. Long-term care insurance is one way to plan for care at home or in a facility. These are conversations, not one-size applications.
